I serve as Secretary of the Board for Spiritual Growth Ministry with a heart for Christ and a desire to support the work God is doing through this ministry. In my professional life, I work as a Sales Executive, where I have developed strong skills in organization, communication, and collaboration. I am grateful for the opportunity to use those gifts to serve the ministry and support its mission of encouraging spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Christ.

As a husband, father, and grandfather, I am blessed by God to be part of a loving family that upholds me. My church family is an equally important part of my supportive community. I have served in leadership roles in my church and in various other organizations. I am a retired non-profit fundraiser and administrator who has worked in a range of settings. I have been privileged to know Nasser Zand and Sylvie Charliekaram, founders of SGM. It has been inspiring to observe, support, and join in their missional work of spreading the gospel to Farsi speakers around the world, as well as the ongoing work of discipling new followers of Jesus.

Pastor John Bouwers has been married to Geraldine for 40 years. Together they are parents to four and Opa and Oma to seven. John is a former engineer and business entrepreneur, an established church pastor, the church planter at Crosstowne Church in Milton, and a leader in a movement to plant even more churches across Eastern Canada. He plays basketball and builds classic cars in his spare time.

Greg is the pastor of Willowdale Christian Reformed Church and has been ordained as a minister since 2005. He has also served as a missionary for Christian Reformed World Missions/Resonate in West Africa and Canada. Greg is married to Nelly and has four children and seven grandchildren.
